Motek 2008
27th International Trade Fair for Assembly & Handling Technology
| Motek, the international trade fair for assembly and handling technology, takes place annually. The 2006 edition was the last one held in Sinsheim; the 2007 show was the first one held at the new trade fair centre in Stuttgart, resulting in a 30% increase in visitors.
Motek is renowned all over Europe as global platform for procurement and the exchange of information, and it has established itself in recent years as an attractive leading fair in its industry sector. This has a lot to do with the fact that Stuttgart is located in the center of Europe's economically strongest industrial region an area that accounts for the lion's share of Europe's turnover in the fields of assembly, robotics, and handling systems.
With 30,076 registered trade visitors, Motek 2003 experienced a growth rate of 8% compared to the previous year's event. Around 15% of Motek visitors came to Sinsheim from foreign countries. Also, 804 registered exhibitors and 93 additionally represented companies from 17 different countries participated. These figures again establish Motek as Europe's leading trade fair for assembly and handling technology. Frequency: Annual. |
